GMS was founded in 1984 by Heinrich Hueser (born 1938), who headed the company as managing director (C.E.O.) until 2020.
In 2020 he decided to pass the business into younger hands and found a successor with an impressive international trading experience. Mr. Hueser stays in the managing team as consultant and will give his knowledge and experience to the new owner and manager, Hamid Samani (born 1973).
GMS is still based in Norderstedt (near Hamburg).
